Dear Ron,
This is second (third?) cousin Joey. Remember we used to play music together when I was singing and you were playing the bass. I am living in Atlanta now. I received an email from Aunt Doris about your father's passing. I am so sorry to hear it. He was a wonderful person with a warm personality and well remembered by so many people. Please accept my sympathies.

Papa, You were always such a wonderful grandfather to us. You always wanted to be part of the successes in our lives. Constantly coming to any performances we took part in or anything that meant a lot to us. You always wanted, and were a huge part in our lives. Your children and grandchildren were always the highlight of your . Whenever we walked into the house or you picked up your phone we were greeted with a big welcoming hello and that voice will forever remain in our hearts. Staying at your house was like a mini-vacation for us. You always had some of our favorite treats in your house as well as keeping it fun with our own drawers full of goodies and chairs that you personalized with our names on them. As small as those things are it really showed how much you cared about us and it really made our childhood special. You would always say when we were growing up, you never got meet your own grandparents, and how special and fortunate we were to know ours. Well, papa you were right, a Grandpa is a very special part in a persons life and you really made a huge impact on ours. We love you and always will.

Papa, When I would walk in the house he would always be smiling, even when he was sleeping. When I was younger I used to steal his watches and he would say, "nice watch Niki I have one just like it!" I love you Papa so much and I hope you know that! Papa I'll miss you so much and I really believe you are happy with grandma, your mom, dad, sister, and brother. Papa I know you will be looking down at us. I'm really happy that you saw my band concert, I wish you could have seen my 13th b-day but g-d thought it was your time. I love you Papa.

Some people might of known him as a friend, family member or even from business, but I knew him as my papa. Papa was one of the most majestic men to ever walk this earth. He was kind, smart, and noble. If there is one word to describe Daniel Eli Brown it would have to be luscious. He always made me laugh and we always had a good time. He was a great honest man but also stubborn. He always would stop if there was a mirror in the distance to make sure he looked the best out of all of us. He would also tell the truth if we ever looked bad. I would always go and bring him to Walmart. We would also dress up in clothes so we Iook good too. Dan never stopped. He went strong till the end. He rarely got mad and was always good to me. We had a very bond.. Papa and I would say it was from our square ears, blue eyes and undeniable wit. I love him from the bottom of my heart and I know that he isn't in any more pain now. Now he is with his dad, mom, sister, brother, his good companion Gloria, and most of all his wife, my grandma, Flo.

I would like to honor his life, with the wonderful and so respectful memories I shared working with Dan for a good number of years. He was a mentor and so much a gentleman. May I offer my sympathies at this time to the beautiful family he helped create.
