Sally, Alan, Allison, and Harry -
I'm so sorry for your loss, and have you all in my prayers. But I find myself smiling thinking about memories of Cliff and the great fun we all had trying to keep up with him on the mountain! So glad he and I were able to ski together a couple of years ago - it was such a fun day. My heart is heavy for you all...

As friends of Cliffy for the last 12 years we have so many great memories of him. He had so much compassion and a love for children. What I enjoyed most about Cliffy was that he always had an "edge" about him. He was a solid competitor in softball and golf and loved his work. His passion for life was inpiring and will be sorely missed.

Al and Sally, Allison and Harry - When Greg called me to tell me that Cliff had died, I was absolutely stunned. Cliff was a part of my childhood and like Greg, I feel like a part of it is now lost. I am absolutely heartsick for your loss. I would very much like to come up and see you in Vail in the near future.
With great sadness, Dana

What can I say about Cliff. When I was struggling, he was able to provide me with direction and aid in my current career, for which I will always be grateful. He always offered to drive to the golf course when we played (probably because I provided helpful hints and kept his temper in check). And he loved playing softball, as all his friends can attest to. He was a dear friend and I'm going to miss the conversations, jokes and laughs we always had together.

To all of Cliff's family and relatives, we are so sorry for your loss. Cliffy has always been an unconditional friend. Whenever we hear a deep, raspy voice, we think of Cliff. If there's a softball field in heaven, Cliff will be playing - without getting hurt!

Both Dillon and I are extremely saddened by this tragic loss. Cliff was always someone you could rely on to get something done and was always well liked and a team player; not only in the business world but also with family and friends.

Dear Sally, Allan, Allison & Harry,
Words cannot express the grief I am feeling now. Cliff was like a brother to me and I feel honored to have known him. He gave me so much including a second "Mom & Dad" in Vail! I do so wish I was there today with you, but know that I am there in spirit. Although God has taken Cliff, I am grateful for the over 20 years of friendship he gave me with Cliff. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. I love you all.

Dear Alan, Sally, Allison & Harry:
I was out of town when I heard of Cliff's passing. Needless to say shock and grief overcame me. A large part of staying in Eagle County and making it my home was in large part due to my friendship with Cliff as well as you. While Cliff and I have not spoken for awhile I think of him many times each year on and off the ball fields. When you return and need someone for a minion, please call.
My condolenses and prayes go out to you all.

When I meant Cliff some 20 years ago on the softball field, I knew we were destined to be friends for life. I figured on 40 to 50 years, not just 23. Where ever Jane and Pattie were, Cliff was never far behind looking out for us. In sports he always made us girls feel like we could do anything! I will miss not being able to enjoy golf w/Cliff in our older yrs (post softball). I will forever be "Pint Size"!! My deepest sympathies and prayers for Allison, Harry, Sally and Alan. God Bless you all. Love Pattie & Joe
