Clareon Jones Hinkson

Obituary Condolences

Hinkson, Clareon Jones I have worked in the fertile earth and planted a garden, So I know what faith is. I have seen the morning without clouds after showers, So I know what beauty is. I have sat before a wood fire with family and friends, So I know what companionship is. I have seen the miracle of Spring, in fruition of Summer, and the beauty of Autumn followed by the pause of Winter, So I know what life is. And because I have perceived all these things I know what God is. Mrs. Hinkson the wife of the late Bishop George Duncan Hinkson, M.D., entered into Eternal Peace on the 9th day of August 2006 in Houston, TX. Her life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, August 18th, 2006, at the St. Augustine's Cathedral, African Orthodox Church, 5831 S. Indiana Ave., Chicago, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Final resting place will be at Oak Woods Cemetery. Mrs. Hinkson is survived by her loving and devoted nephew, Dr. C. Rogers Wise and his wife, Anne Wise and a host of nieces and nephews. Although she never had children, there are a few whom she called her own, Dr. Gessel Berry, Elaine Marshburn, Ronald Jenkins and Dr. James Watson her physician and friend. Final arrangements entrusted to the Caring Professionals of Mabrie Memorial Mortuary, 5000 Alemda, Houston, TX, 77004, 713-942- (ROSE)7673 and Taylor Funeral Home, 5350 W. North Ave, Chicago, IL, 60639, 773-889-8500.
