I had the privilege and honor of working with Charlie at the Chicago police dept. 20th district. He was a prime example of the REAL police. I met Charlie's son, Paul, when I worked at the attorney generals office. Paul is a brilliant attorney. He received encouragement and support from his loving parents.
Charlie will be missed.
Kind regards, John O' Malley

Paul, I will remember your dad in my prayers. Although I never had the chance to meet him on the job I heard he was a great guy.

I worked in the old 012th Dist (Monroe St) with Charlie. He was short man but had a Big Heart. He gave me some advise to a then young police officer that I will always remember. Thanks Charlie. May you rest in Peace.
