Barry R. Horton, 79, of Wheaton IL and formerly of Chicago IL, passed away on May 8th, 2021. Loving husband of Jeanne Horton; cherished father of Brandee (Chavonne) and Barry (Lisa). Proud grandfather of four and great grandfather of three. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 8pm on Sunday May 16th at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103 rd St. Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Funeral service Monday May 17th at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Service will be live streamed, visit the funeral home website and click the link. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Chicago IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. Blake Lamb Funeral Home adheres to proper social distancing. No outside food or drinks allowed. All guests will be required to wear face masks at all times.

It´s in moments like these that words fall short. But I deeply admired Uncle Barry's character and heart, and I´ll always remember him with love. I wish I could have spent more time with him in his final years, but I´m honored to have known him and had the chance to see him on our last Holiday Zoom.
