Last year was the 60th class reunion for Barb and I graduating from Academy of Our Lady HS. The celebration was cancelled and changed to this fall. We had gone to some of the past reunions together. She will certainly be missed at the Oct. reunion. Barb was a great friend and liked and respected by all.

. . . in many facets of life, I cannot think of a more effective teacher than Barbara.
She was a very dear friend and mentor, and taught me to use my voice in way to help people listen. I will remember her always; both, for her impact on my life as a lector, and for her wholehearted friendship.

Barbara was very active in business, artistic, and philanthropic endeavors.
She was also a woman of great faith, which sustained her in her last years of trial.

One of the best teachers who ever set foot in Evergreen Park. A wonderful Drama Coach, Director and Mentor to many. I will always cherish my memories of Miss Olson and thankful for her dedication myself and my peers.

Barb and I met 60 years ago as freshmen at AOL. I remember Barb for her talent in Drama Club and her amazing singing voice.
She had a contagious laugh, always saw the positive, was compassionate and a loyal friend. Barb made the world a better place.
