Mrs. Araujo (Amelia)--you were good to my grandmother, Benita Rodriguez, when she lived, and you were a good friend to my mother, Aida Perez. You were also a good friend to me and an example how to live with respect to what is really important such as family, friends and companionship. You were 'Nana Araujo' to my mother's 'Pink Nana' to my nieces, nephew, great nephews and great niece.
Like your picture, you always smiled and liked to laugh. Your generous spirit knew no boundaries. We always managed to connect even through our language barrier. You liked music, singing and dancing. After all, Life is a Fiesta, and you understood that very well.
To Amelia's Family I'd like to say that The Universe was very good to us giving us the gift of Amelia (Herrera) Araujo for 89 years. Thank you for sharing your gift with the rest of us.
May Amelia's Light Continue to Shine!
