Gleason, Alex Age 79, late of the East Side, passed away December 10, 2017. Beloved husband of Donna for 45 years; loving father of Kelli; dearest brother of Jean Wilkening and Teddy Jedry; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Theodora; and brother William "Larry". Alex was a former employee of Wisconsin Steel, a retired employee from the City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation, an avid fisherman and a devoted White Sox fan. Visitation Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago. Interment Private.
