Hoffenberg, Sheldon Age 74, of Deerfield, IL, died of congestive heart failure on Sunday, July 1st. A passionate journalist, he worked ABC-TV Chicago for 34 years, during which time he wrote and produced news stories and was also the producer of a Sunday morning news program called "News Views". Prior to his work at ABC, he was a columnist for Lerner Newspapers and editor at the Chicago Tribune. Sheldon was born in Chicago on January 4, 1938. He graduated from Senn High School, class of 1955, and four years later from the University of Illinois. He is survived by Darlene, his wife of 46 years; his sons, Rob and Rick; sister, Diane and brother, Vern; and a granddaughter, Zoe. The funeral will be held Friday, July 6th, 2:00 P.M. at Westlawn Cemetery Chapel, 7801 W. Montrose Avenue; Norridge, IL 60706. Info Lakeshore Funerals, 773-435-1558
