March, Martin "Boom Boom" Loving father and grandfather, died on March 23, 2012. He was born on June 24th, 1930 and passed away at the age of 81 of natural causes. He is survived by his loved one Sheila Tropp of Miller Beach, Indiana; his three sons Scott, Alan and Brook; and beautiful Granddaughters Alexa, Natasha, and Maryann as well as several loved ones. Marty was a resident of Miller Beach, IN. Marty was born on June 24, 1930 in East Chicago, IN to the parents of Paul and Pearl March (Marcovich) and the brother to Arthur. Marty attended Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter New Hampshire prior to graduating from Princeton University in Princeton New Jersey in 1952. After graduating from Princeton he proudly served his country during the Korean War as a Special Operations Officer in the US Army. Marty was born in the Northwest Indiana area. During his youth he was lucky to live in several different parts of the country, however ended up back in the Chicagoland area. Marty loved the game of football and played throughout his high school and college years. Legend has it, as Middle Linebacker, he would cause so much damage on the football field that's what earned him the name "Boom Boom". There will be a gravesite funeral service for Marty on Sunday, March 25th at 3:00 at Temple Beth-El Cemetery, Portage, IN.
