Retired after 38 years of service as a Carpenter for the City of Chicago Public Library Main Branch. Husband for 58 years of Justine "Tina" (nee Marchi); father of Mark (Christine) Bonato, Joann (Patrick) McDonald and Joy (Michael) Friddle; loving "Papa" of Katherine Dieboldt, Shannon McGuckin, Samantha Wolff, Patrick and Kevin McDonald and Cassandra Bonato; beloved "Papa B" to his great-grandchildren, Max, Lily and Lola Dieboldt, Lanie McGuckin, Rhion and Bree Burkett, Declan and Colin McDonald; brother of Mary Biedrzycki, Ann Uhlir and the late Angeline Ghidotti and Olivia Pizzo; uncle to many.
