Glover, Harry Otho Was born on February 22, 1929 in Nemacolin, PA and passed October 21, 2013 in Crete, IL. He is survived by his daughters, Cathy (The Rev. Walter) Griesmeyer and Susan Langford; grandchildren, Aaron (Katrina) Langford and Jessica Langford; great-grandchildren, Chloe Hancock, Azarai and Sage Langford. Harry was a 26 year veteran of the Submarine Service, and was inducted into the prestigious submarine honor society the Holland Club. He served during World War II in the Liberation of the Philippines, in the Mediterranean and Cuba during the Korean War, and as Master Chief on the USS Abraham Lincoln during the Vietnam War. Harry moved from Ledyard, CT in 2009, to live at St. James Manor and Villas in Crete, IL. Requiem Eucharist will Saturday, November 16, at Church of the Holy Family in Park Forest, followed by full military honors. Interment will be in Rockwood, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Holy Family Organ Fund and the Neighbors Street Ministry of Church of the Good Shepherd, East Chicago, IN.
