Dear Lynn,
I got to know Bill during the times we were both in the fitness center at Boulder Ridge. It was always a pleasure to talk to him about golf, movies, travel and life in general. One thing that was very apparent in these conversations was how very much he loved you and his family.
Please count Jim and me among the many who are thinking of you and your family with understanding and sympathy too deep for words to say.
A special life has passed from our sight, but never from our hearts.

I loved playing Old Maid with Papa because I could trick him so he got the Old Maid. It made me happy and we laughed! Papa saw me do somersaults on the beam. He said "Wow!" Papa was great.
He was fun. I will miss him seeing me do things like jump rope. Kaitlyn

Papa was very nice and he cared about his grandchildren and family. He liked to watch sports and I enjoyed watching them with him. He made me happy when he smiled.
He loved going fishing and one trip changed my life because I caught a shark and I wouldn't have done it without Papa!
I loved Papa very much and I'll never forget him. Scotty

He was a fun Grandpa. My favorite memory was going to Wrigley Field with him where I got my first autographed baseball. He enjoyed watching me play baseball. Papa taught us how to fish. And I liked fishing with him. I loved him a lot. Will

We are glad to hear Bill was at home with family at his side – nothing could give him more comfort.
It seems like Bill has passed in the blink of an eye. What a good and caring man. A conversationalist, interesting and friendly, loyal and just plain charming. He could always find the good in a person. He was a hard worker, great provider, talented in so many areas.
I always enjoyed my time with Bill. He had a lot of special qualities and we shared a lot of laughs. I am glad that he was my friend and I feel fortunate to have known him.
Our love and thoughts are with you Lynn and your family.
