Pollack Jr., Samuel A. Samuel A. Pollock Jr. died in his sleep Friday, February 22, 2013 at his home on the south side of Chicago, IL. Sam was a loving husband to his late wife, Josephine Pollock, and a devoted father to his late son, Samuel A. Pollock III. He is survived by a devoted daughter, Janice Marie Pollock (Edward) Powe; a granddaughter, Kristie "Toby" Powe; a step-granddaughter, Jakia Caldwell-Elias; and a beloved niece, Margie Whitney. Sam retired from The Chicago Transit Authority after 34 years of service. He leaves behind a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, co-workers and close friends. Services will be held at Leak & Sons Funeral Home, 7838 South Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago, IL. The wake is at 10:00a.m. and the funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m.
