A real role model, a soldier laid to rest. A real man makes his mark on society instead of marking society up. Thank God for bearing witness to such a man.

Toya, Summer and my dear Garrett - I am so grateful to have you in my life and what Ron meant to Rico. I could not have asked for a better role model for my son -who rarely sees his own father. I know you have faith, but if at anytime you need anything and I can offer some semblance of relief -call on us. We love you dearly and our hearts ache with you. Love, Patti, Rico & Jocelyn

Ron,
One of my best friends and life time brother.
We talked Friday and Saturday you started your journey home. So glad we got a chance to have one last laugh and I will remember the happiness you sounded on the phone.
I guess I’m still in shock and haven’t allowed my emotions to show, not wanting to believe just like a blink of an eye, I’ll never see you anymore.
We had our quarterly meeting in January, I looked for you to come through the door. I said to myself this is just a dream that crazy man must be golfing near the Florida shore.
As the days went by and I inquired how is Ron today? The responses were gloomy, I thought God must be pulling him his way.
I felt a since of sadness, like others not being able to understand, do you have to take him now. He has a wife and kids who need him, and retirement is coming around.
Plans of golfing, barbequing and watching garret become a baseball star. Dreams not fulfilled now that his life has departed.
I know I don’t fully understand, for deaths purpose is chosen by God. A message spoken quite clear don’t waste time with small stuff, death is final not a facade
Here today, gone today, a breath in the wind. I’m so glad God was part of his life, and it was something we shared as friends.
Good Bye, Mr. Ron, President Spivey, my life time brother and friend. I know you went straight to heavens golf shop, where now your early retirement with Jesus begins.
For those of us who are left for awhile, remember death has a date for us too, May God continue to uplift the family and shine Ron’s smile upon you when you feel you can’t make it through.

Ron, it was absolutely a pleasure to serve with you as a Markham Police Officer the last two decades. The time has come for you to rest with our colleagues who also preceded you too soon: Jack McLaughlin ('95), Sean Laura ('97), Eric DeWitt ('03) and Pat Barnard-Righi ('04). You are missed. We will not forget. R.I.P.

Growing up with Ronnie on the westside of Chicago was such a joy. Ronnie was always the one coming home with some stray dogs. All the dogs in the neighbor loved him, they would follow him home everytime. That shows how much we love him. I will miss my cuz, his smile and his presents, but God call you home and said your work is done. R.I.P.
