La Cien, Richard A. Age 83. Longtime Flossmoor resident, born and raised in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. He received a B.S. in Accounting and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University, spending 19 years in private law practice before serving as an Associate Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County from 1980 until his retirement in 2002. Husband for 53 years of Kathleen (nee Lo Verde); father of Mary Ellen (David) Born, Richard (Laura), Gregory (Kim) and Brian (Bridget) La Cien; grandfather of Brendan, Richard III, Gina and Charlie; brother of George (Mit) La Cien and Paul (Marjorie) La Cien CPD, retired; uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday, February 9th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet Saturday morning at Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish, 16043 S. Bell Rd., Homer Glen, IL. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment private.
