Richard Borg Obituary

Borg, Richard Riis Age 67, born and raised in Chicago, IL. A graduate of Millikin University, member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, a former Vice President of Taubman Company and owners of the Inn at Pine Terrace, Oconomowoc, WI, his life long dream, passed at his home, surrounded by his family on November 22, 2011, after a brave battle with cancer. Dearest son of the late Paul and Marian Borg, loving husband of Anne, nee Luttrell, beloved dad of Emily (Patrick) Poncher and Amanda (David) Maciag, proudest Papa of Grace Maciag, Sam and Madelyn Poncher, fond brother of Robert, Donald and Paul, Jr., cherished uncle, cousin and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made in Richard's name to the National Fragile X Foundation, 1615 Bonanza Street, Suite 202, Walnut Creek, CA 94596 or www.fragilex.org. Visitation Monday, November 28, 2011, 4-8 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine and Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 9 AM until time of funeral service at 10 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 3839 W. Frontage Road, Rolling Meadows.
