Vance, Orville "Bud" 70, of Munster, IN, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Janis Vance; daughters, Wendy (Dan) Pesavento and Sara (Mike) Vance-Blick; grandchildren, Lucas, Ethan, Zephyr and Scarlet; brothers, Rick (Doyne) Vance and John (Deanna) Vance; sisters, Darlene Mathis and DeeDee (Steve) Murphy; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2014 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 8955 Columbia Ave., Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Bud Vance was one of the kindest souls I ever had the privilege to meet. When I first came to Northwestern Memorial he made me feel welcome and safe. Everyone here is a better person for having known him. My thoughts are with his family.
