Michalak, Jeanette M. Age 67, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. She was born December 4, 1949 to the late David and Ann (nee Rastenis) Pruden. Jeanette was raised in Chicago and was a graduate of Kelly High School, Class of 1967. She retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after over 35 years of dedicated service. Jeanette is survived by her husband, John J. Michalak, Jr. and one sister, Susie (Stan) Wienclaw. Jeanette will also be fondly remembered as a most loving and devoted aunt of many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, David and Wayne Pruden. Funeral services for Jeanette Michalak will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
