Barbeau, Jean 77, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at her home in Charlotte, N.C. Mrs. Barbeau, a daughter of the late Louis Peck and Alice Veronica Sinnott Peck, was born December 1. 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Charlotte. She is survived by four sons, Thomas B. Barbeau and wife, Diane, of Sherrills Ford, N.C., Donald L. Barbeau and wife, Barbara, of Evanston, IL; Gary J. Barbeau and Larry F. Barbeau and wife, Joy, all of Charlotte; her sister, Gertrude Antonelli of Florida; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Barbeau was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Barbeau, in 1986 and a son, James Barbeau in 1993. She was our rock, the one who was always there with all the answers and a hug. Thank you. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Memorials may be sent to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, NC, 28204. I was sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She and your Dad were such good neighbors and friends. We lost Mom last Sept. and I can relate to your feelings. Take care. Cookie
