I introduced George to the world of films, bringing him to countries in easten
europe and Russia. This started his love
of getting involved with the film industry. George was a silent great person.I am saddened by his early passing. His friends in Europe that he
made will surely miss him but will
remember him for his kindness and friend-
ship to all.

I was really sad to hear that Mr.Gund had been ill for quite awhile,
before his passing...he was a good man!
I played pickup with him ONCE, along with his sons, and nephew(s)
in 1988, I said hello to him at a public skate in 2001-2002, and
not only did he remember me, but he remembered one of my
coworkers from years before also by name.
I can't remember if I ever thanked him for bringing the Sharks here...
I'll never forget "The Gunds"

Humble, helpful, giving, spirited George … will be missed ! Very few with the resources he had ever are as genuine or as humble as he was. Great father too, had the kids work in the stands at the stadium to keep real and they were and are. My heart goes out to the family and my dear friend, George's ex wife Theo who has remained close all these years. She has the generous bug too.
