Dear Adrienne, Butchie, Buzzy and Buddy,
I don't know if you will remember me or not, but I'm Lena Stern's daughter, Cherie. I used to stay at your cottage in South Haven in the summer. My mother, Lena Stern, was a dear friend of your mother for almost all her life. My Mom passed away 5 years ago at the age of 91. She adored your mother and your father, as did I. My fondest memories include time with your dear, dear family. (Butchie was my first crush). I'm 61 years old now and have two grown children and a dear granddaughter. I know my mother will welcome yours. When I saw your mother's name in the Sun Times, tears came to my eyes and I felt like a little girl again. I hope your families will be blessed with all the wonderful memories your mother has left behind. May she rest in peace.
