of Truck 44 Engine 55, loyal Brother of the Barrel and the Brigade, optimistic Front Nine golfer, dedicated Our Lady of Victory parishioner, 8am mass usher and Holy Name Society member, friendly "Hi ya' Smiley!" and "Hey Good Looking!" greeter to all. He played the front nine passionately and hated to leave this course, but is sure to play the heavenly back nine beautifully under par. Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rose; daughter, Susan (son-in-law, Scott) Hoffman; son, Robert; grandson, Michael; and granddaughter, Hailey. Friends and family are invited to visitation from 3-9pm on Wednesday, August 7 at Malec & Sons, 6000 W. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Funeral and interment private. In Eddie's honor, play a round of golf and lift a silent prayer when any fire truck goes by.
