Edith Anderson Obituary

Anderson, Edith Dagny Edith Dagny Anderson, 89, of Highland Park, passed away April 2, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Arnie; loving mother of Nancy Anderson and Donna Hill (Jack Schmitt); cherished grandmother of Brian (Celeste) Hill; adoring great-grandmother of Elliott, Evelyn and the late Oliver; dear sister of the late Vera (Rook) Larson. Edith worked in Lake Bluff School District 19 and volunteered at Highland Park Hospital for 7 years. She was also a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Highland Park Senior Center and made blankets for Linus. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 9th from 10 am until time of service 10:30 am at St. James Lutheran Church, 1380 N. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045. Interment North Shore Garden of Memories, North Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
