Dear Wax Family,
I met Dave when I was in my twenties going out to the bars with him, Seth Palatnik among others. From that point until now he was always the same person. When I think of Dave I think of a stand up guy who represented all that is good. Going to BJBE will not be the same without his presence. My family and I mourn your loss.

Dear Shelia and family and Alan,

I am so sorry for your loss. I tried to make it to the funeral but had to many appointments but was thinking of you at that time. Shelia, I remember you in high school as a loving and caring beautiful young woman. I know you are a great mother and will handle this with grace and strength. Alan, I know how much you loved your brother and know you will be there for the kids over the summer when they will lean on you. Hopefully your strength will transfer over to the kids.

Keep in good spirits the best you can to help the kids get through this bad time.

27 years ago Dave was the only non-family member in my wedding. 24 years ago Dave sent my first-born daughter a US Savings bond. 2 days ago I learned of Dave's passing, and 20 minutes ago his memorial service began.

Wax family: please know that you do not mourn alone.

What does the future hold? Shelley, my promise to pray for you and the children. For me, I'm afraid I will always wish I had stayed in closer touch with Dave over the many years.

To the Wax family:
You might not remember me...I worked with David many years ago when PWC was just PW...I was a file room clerk then, a scrappy kid still in college. I worked with David for many years, eventually becoming IT and fixing David's computers:). I continued to work with him after it became PwC and until I had my first child. My heart broke when I heard the news from our mutual friend and former co-worker Allison Cain. David was filled with gentleness and kindness. He was so respectful and had a really fantastic sense of humor. It has been a long time since I have seen him, but out of anyone I ever worked with over there, he made an impression. He was certainly a great man, who, no doubt, left a legacy everywhere of great impressions. My heart is broken for you all and I will pray for all of you.

Shelley, Benji, Adam, and Jessie,
We are so incredibly sad to hear about David's passing. The shock at times has been overwhelming for me. Maybe this is because I just saw all of you Saturday at Anna's graduation party, but it is more likely because it is hard for me to understand why such a great Dad and Husband has to leave us all so soon.

I am grateful for the years I was able to know David. I lit some candles today at St. Joseph's church in Hopkins, MN for all of you. I hope it helps.
