Pomper, David Age 87, beloved husband of Regina (nee Portretow) and the late Elsie (nee Dorbin); loving father of Martin (Jennifer Coughlin) Pomper, Valerie (Steven Meyers) Pomper and Brian (Anne Kim) Pomper; devoted grandfather of Jonathan, Benjamin and Lana Pomper, Emily, Abigail and Olivia Meyers, Alexander and Elliot Pomper. He was an avid bibliophile and loving patriarch of his extended family. Funeral service Thursday 12:00 p.m. at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen, ww5.komen.org. Info: 847-256-5700.
