Dear Jerry, Burt and Family, I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. The news brought many special memories rushing back to me. She was so special to me. She let me babysit for her Harold and Jerry back on Monroe St. I can still see her smiling face and twinkling eyes. She made the best chicken soup! I was crazy about you little boys. I always sent a card to your Mom at this time of year and she always wrote back. Last year I didn't hear from her. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to attend the service for her. Know that she will always have a special place in my heart. I was surprised to learn that Harold had died. I'm sure that his death would have been difficult for your Mom. She loved her children and their children! I wish I could be talking to you in person, but for now, I'm sorry for the loss you must feel. I do hope death was not difficult for her. With love, Mary Ann and Richard Johnston.
