Brooks, Horace Age 82, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the Illinois National Guard at the age of 17 and retired as a Major. While in the National Guard, he worked 32 years for the Chicago Transit Authority and retired as a Garage Superintendent II.
