Bates, Helen Marie (nee Huber) 96, died on May 2, 2015. A resident of Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock, IL, formerly of Huntley, IL and Park Ridge, IL. Loving wife of the late Frank H. Bates; mother of the late Evelyn Arlene (Fred) Scheuer and the late Esther Marie (the late Bill) Brosch, Thommes (Rich) and son, James E. (the late Judy nee Gilbert) Bates. She was born in Danville, IL and raised in Lincoln, IL at the Oddfellows Children's Home where she met her future husband. She outlived her husband, 2 daughters, a grandson and a great-granddauther. Currently she has her son, Jimmy, 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren surviving her.
