Anthony, Jerry - Chicago  
Anthony, M. Jerry Age 94 years; beloved husband of Lockie Anthony, passed away after a struggle with complications following a stroke. Born September 27, 1920 to parents Professor Jerry M. Anthony Sr. and Stella Cole. He professed Christ at an early age at Brown Creek Missionary Church in Brownsville, TN under the leadership of the late Rev. Williams. He received his early education in Hay Wood County, later attended Merry High School in North Jackson, TN. Later attended Lane College. He entered the Armed Services in 1941 where he was in the Medical Corps and obtained the rank of Staff Sgt. He served in Asiatic Pacific, earning two Bronze Stars, Phillipine Liberation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and American Ribbon, American Defense Service Medal. Retired from AT&T with 28 years of service. Joined Trinity United Church until his death. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Lockie Gibson. To this union no children were born. He leaves to remember him in love, his wife of 44 years; one niece, Ramelle Walker; one nephew, Max Walker; cousins, Audrey Driver, Sharon Diamond, Bernard Reynolds, Alline Lloyd, Barbara Lloyd and Michael Lloyd, Marc Lloyd, Andria Diamond and Chris Diamond; daughter, Linda Gibson and granddaughter, Nicole Gibson. Services are pending.

Attiyeh, Carrie - Jackson  
Attiyeh, Carrie May 87, passed peacefully from this world on February 25, 2015 at her residence. Born in Ohio on April 21, 1927, Carrie spent most of her life on the Southwest side of Chicago and lately resided in the home of her daughter, Alice, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was an excellent cook, an avid reader and delighted in puzzles of all kinds. She also had a special affinity for dogs, including her most recent faithful companion, Mak. Carrie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill; her four siblings and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Attiyeh. In addition to her daughter, Alice Krawczyk and husband, Stan, she is survived by three other children, Richard Attiyeh, Martha Attiyeh and husband Yanni and Bill Attiyeh and wife Maggie; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, there will be a private service at a later time. The family wishes to thank Mrs. Attiyeh's caregivers, Miss Meeka and Miss Bonnie Duncan for their kindness and gentle nature in which they cared for her.
