Anderson, Raymond R. Age 85, of Bedford, TX formerly of Lisle and Woodridge, IL, passed away Friday, January 23rd. He was born in Mille Lacs County, MN on September 13, 1929. He served in the Air Force, stationed in Anchorage, Alaska after basic training in San Antonio, TX. He worked for Wallace Business Forms for over 40 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Ellyn J. Anderson; loving father of Tom (Debbie); dear grandfather of Troy (Iris), Drew, and the late Brandon; fond brother of late Dewey (Iris), Dorothy (Clifton), and Ardis (Fred); uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31st. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., service at 11:00 a.m., at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave. (Rte. 53 and Short St.), Lisle. Beloved wife of the late Clifford; loving mother of Barbara (the late Charles) Watkins and the late JoAnn Nelson; loving Noni of Wendy Koll, the late Kim Friel-McLaughlin, Laurie (Steve) Obermeier, Jody (Jim) Friel, Brian (Bridget) Nelson and Maggie (Mike) Bradford; proud great-Noni of Jen, Bobby, Kristi, Billy, Tommy, Stephanie, Mike, Kelly, Katey, Tracy, Brooke, Sean and JoAnn; great-great-Noni of Maya, Jaxon, Norah and Luke; dear sister of the late Bernice Bock and the late Charles Bobus. Gert was one of a kind. She will always be remembered for her zest for life, love of music, dancing and her sparkling attire! Batory, James - Scottsdale  
Batory, James Edward 84, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on January 21, 2015. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 28, 1930. He served in the Korean War. He was one of a kind and will be remembered as loving, kind, funny, and smart. He would talk to and befriend anyone he met. He was loved by many here in the Valley, back in Illinois where he moved from in 1989 and by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; parents, Jacob and Anne Batory; siblings, Marie, Francis, Joseph Chruszczyk, Rose Kolasar, and Eleanor Sweiss. He is survived by brother, Anthony and sister, Florence Dudczyk; niece, Lorraine Schaefer; his children, Therese Lentz, late Lawrence (Linda), James (Lynn), Mary Anne (Lawrence) Bragg, Christine Erwin, Kenneth, and Catherine (Steve) Wasylenko; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by Jacki Kahkonen who has loved and cared for him for many years. Visitation will be on Friday, January 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ (480) 945-9521. Brown, Wirlie - Westfield  
Brown, Wirlie Mitchell Was born August 1, 1939 to Cora Robinson and Wylie M. Brown, Sr. in Beulah, MS. In 1962, he relocated to Chicago, IL and began work at Aims Metal. In 1979 he began an on-the-job training program at General Motors where he remained employed until 2004, at which time he retired after 25 years of employment. Wirlie departed life peacefully on January 19, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Lee; sons, Ira (Deborah) and Ivan; daughter, Exkelia; stepsons, Reginald and Fredrick; grandchildren, Nevian, Nia, and Travis.
