Aldis, Raymond P. "Puppy" Age 58, passed away April 5, 2015. Loving son of the late Stanley and Helen (nee Sidlauskas) Aldis; fond brother of Al (Jean) Hicks, Loretta (the late Robert) Wonogas, Stanley (Sharon) Aldis, Gerald (Paulette) Aldis, Dorothy Aldis and the late William (Linda) Aldis; special cousin of Michael (Kathy) Lucas; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend of many. Past employee of the Chicago Tribune for 35 years. A diehard Blackhawks fan his entire life; guest of the Mark White VFW Post for over 30 years. He always had a joke to tell. He lived to make people laugh. He had many friends because to know him was to love him. We would like to say thank you to his two dear friends who drove him back and forth to the hospital, Dennis Smith and Dave Coady. Gedaminsas, Tom Robert Loving father passed away April 8, 2015. Born August 27, 1951 to the late Anthony and Dorothy Gedaminsas. Tom was a Veteran and retired from Electromotive where he worked 40+ years. His hobbies included collecting train models, motorcycles, gardening, and spending time with his children. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer McCarthy of LITH, Stephanie Witt of Lyons; one son, Anthony Gedaminsas of Lyons, IL; 3 grandchildren, Keegan McCarthy, Berkley McCarthy and Ava Witt. Memorial service will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., Summit, IL. Relatives and friends are welcome.

Makarski, Henry - Oak Park  
Makarski, Henry S. "Hank" Age 83, passed away on April 13, 2015. He grew up in Niles, IL; served in the Army during the Korean War. Worked as a house painter and bartender, and later became a caregiver to family and friends. He always had a good story ready to tell, loved animals, and read countless history books and novels about true crime. Hank lived his life simply and fully. Among those who will miss him are his sister, Olga (Makarski) Serafin; nieces, Nancy (Bill) Creighton, Bobbi (Bill) Potratz and Susi (Rick) Velasco; great-nieces and great-nephews; and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Makarski; sister, Estelle Smietana and parents, Stanley and Angeline Makarski. A private memorial celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
