Kutrumanes, George James 87, of Chicago, born in Agrianos (Sparta) Greece, passed away June 23, 2016. Beloved husband of Georgia (nee Triantafillopoulos) of 55 years; loving father of Dean (Vasi), Peter (Nikoletta), and James (Maria); proud and cherished grandfather "Pappou" of Georgiana, Patricia, Natalie, Georgios, Christopher, and Gianni; devoted son of the late Demetri and Marigo (nee Kyriakoula); supportive brother of Nick, Pano, John, Kiki and the late Pota. George had a strong work ethic. He worked at Hot Point automatic electric-GTE/Sylvania, Maryann Baking Company/Alpha Baking and a Restaurant Entrepreneur. He lived a life that was full of pride, joy, and happiness. He took great pride in his family, being an American and a teacher to many. He was a veteran of the Greek Civil War, serving in the Hellenic Army. His generosity, great sense of humor and selflessness are qualities that will be missed. He loved the Chicago Cubs, having coffee with friends and keeping up with current events. He was a TRUE gentleman with kind words and a smile for everyone he met. He was the beloved patriarch and guiding light of his family; he will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren. May His Memory Be Eternal. DiNella, Mary - Chicago  
DiNella, Mary Ruth (nee Mahoney) 86; devoted wife of the late Anthony; beloved mother of Mitch (Carlene) and Joe (Vicki); daughter of the late John and Margaret (Hartsfield) Mahoney. Preceded in death by siblings, Bud, Paul, Frank (Babe), Mike (Phyllis), Allen, Peggy (Charles) Shue, Janey and Edna (Martin) O'Neill. Mary Ruth is survived by her only remaining sibling, Catie Mahoney. Ruthie was the sixth of 10 children who, in 1949, married Anthony, who was the seventh of 10 children. A few years later, sons Mitch and Joe were born. Ruth was a lifelong member of Teamsters Local 714 and worked at Écko Products for over 30 years. She was a trusted and loved wife, mother, aunt and work mate. She raised her boys in a good union household, Anthony being a union machinist, Mitch, a local 73 sheet metal worker and Joe, a graphic arts worker. Ruth was a true friend to all working people. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and precious dog, Tessa. We will all miss her beautiful smiling face. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care for their excellent and compassionate care of Mom and Dr. John Walsh for his commitment to her and her family. Ferguson, Roosevelt - Chicago  
Ferguson, Roosevelt Age 83, husband of Pauline E. Ferguson and father of Alan E. Ferguson passed away on May 31, 2016 at Rush University Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Columbus, Ohio after graduating from high school. Following an honorable discharge from the United States Army, he entered Ohio State University and earned both the bachelor and master degrees in political science and urban affairs. While pursuing a PhD in political science and pre-law at New York University, he taught at New York University and Hunter College. His higher education teaching career took him to Chicago where he first taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago while serving as bookkeeper and treasurer for the late Second Ward Alderman, William Barnett. He also taught at De Paul University and later retired from the teaching profession to begin employment with the City of Chicago. He served in numerous professional roles with the City of Chicago and retired from the position as the Contract Coordinator for the Chicago Cable Company. For over forty years he lived in the Lake Meadow community and was highly respected as an example of a conscientious and dedicated person. Roosevelt lived his life with a demeanor of dignity, honor and value that inspired and encouraged his family and friends. To know Roosevelt was to feel love, understanding and support. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 1936 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
