Brewton, Bishop G.H. Was born in Conecuh County, Evergreen, Alabama on July 17, 1934. He accepted Christ over 50 years ago. Soon after he yielded to the call of ministry on his life, he started his journey as Pastor. Many souls were saved and an immeasurable number of lives touched and blessed under his leadership. Our hearts were comforted and blessed to watch as even on his last day he rejoiced and praised God before leaving this earth. Rest well, Bishop GH Brewton. Your work here is done. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at W.W.Holt Funeral Home, 175 West 159th Street, Harvey, IL 60426. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Outreach Church of God in Christ located at 200 West 147th St., Harvey, IL 60426. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph (Joan) Penze and Kristen (nee Madigan) (Lawrence) Abbinante; loving sister of Kali Penze, Nicholas and Jacob Abbinante; cherished granddaughter of Frances (late Peter) Calcagno and Susan Iden; fond niece of James Madigan and Melissa Madigan (Jonathan Becker); dear cousin and friend of many Visitation Friday, April 29, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 8025 W. Beloved husband of the late Janet Setlak (nee Ciebiera) for 58 years; loving father of Linda (late Jimmy) Pappas, Ken Setlak and Diane (Jay) Janowski; proud grandfather of Erik Pappas, Steven (Courtney) Pappas, Kevin Setlak, Kristen Setlak, Kyle Janowski and Danny Janowski; caring great-grandfather of Angel, Breanna and Iziah; dear brother of Marge (Joe) Wojtonik; kind uncle and cousin of many. Preceded in death by parents, Jozef and Mary (nee Lorek) Setlak, and siblings, Frank (late Vera) Setlak, Angie (late John) Palilunas, Ceil (late Vick) Mockus, JoJo (late Eddie) Wactor, Dorothy (late Joe) King and Annie (late Michael) Hutsko. Raymond proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #697 and a lifelong member of St. Florian Church. Raymond was employed by Jack Beck Corp., and worked for the Chicago White Sox for 30 years and loved watching sports. He was a retired 60 year member of the Union Carpenter Local #434. Our "Dzia Dzia" was a master carpenter who valued faith, family and friends and who built many memories for us all.
