Bianchi, Clara M. 95, of Elgin, passed away on November 19, 2014. She is the beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Linda (John) Tessler and Thomas E. Bianchi; cherished grandmother of Christine (Matt) Linhart, Rebecca Bianchi. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 397 Fulton St., Elgin, IL. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL. Visitation will be on Monday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Claver, Naomi (nee Goldberg) 92, beloved wife of the late Emanuel "Manny"; loving mother of Scott (Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo), Gayle (Rich) Rediker, Mike, Cary (Dr. Lisa Wolff) and Bruce (Amy); proud Grandma Nae of twelve and great-grandma of seven; dear sister of Eleanor (the late Leonard) Green and the late Morton Goldberg and sister-in-law of George (the late Juanita) Claver; treasured aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many. Naomi was extremely proud to be an educator and community activist. Her passion for children and providing education opportunities to the youth was her lifelong devotion. Naomi even continued her own higher education in her 50's and into her mid 60's when she received her Master's in Education. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be missed by all who knew her. Chapel service Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Grudzien, Thomas J. Age 66, of Richmond, IL, passed away on November 13, 2014. Loving son of Genevieve and the late John Grudzien; cousin of George Mikrut and many others. Thomas was an avid Chicago sports fan, Bears, Bulls, Black Hawks and the White Sox. He enjoyed hanging out and traveling with his cousin, the late Gerald E. Roth, Sandra - Wilmette  
Roth, Sandra Zimberoff 81, loving mother and grandmother, passed away November 19, 2014 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was a lifelong Chicago native. Sandra attended the University of Chicago at age 14 and received her bachelor's degree years later from Northwestern. For years she was the principal of Sandra Roth and Associates, a travel firm that specialized in exotic touring and corporate travel. Sandra had many interests in addition to her travel. She loved the arts, would spend many hours at the Art Institute and looked forward to live performances of music, dance, and opera. Her most favorite activity was walking along the sands of Lake Michigan and remembering her days at the Dunes in Indiana. Sandra is survived by her loving family, David and Polly Roth, Joel and Cessy Roth, Steven Roth and Jody Schuster, Ann and David Kriozere and 11 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 21 at Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Info 847-256-5700. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. Zapata, Erasmo - South Chicago  
Zapata, Erasmo Javier November 25, 1936 - September 26, 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear uncle, Erasmo Javier Zapata. He was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and as a teenager settled in the Chicago area. He was a longtime resident of South Chicago, where he owned a home for the last 40 years. Our Tio Javier was a Korean War veteran who later worked as a butcher, school bus driver, and security guard. He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Those who knew him always enjoyed his many life stories and his all-around good nature. Javier was preceded in death by his wife, Lola and older sister, Maria Lourdes. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He will be greatly missed. Que en paz descanses Tio.
