Fortier, Henry Joseph Age 88, of Chicago, passed peacefully on June 25, 2015. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Dawn; loving father of Lesley (Jim) Jercich, Dr. Glen (Michelle), Jill (Rick) Engel, Dr. Paul (Susan), Gary (Melissa), Philip (Moira), Dennis (Cindy) and Christopher (Heidi); dear grandfather of Jack, Tori, Buck, Beau, Bailey, Blake, Regina, Thomas, Matthew, Erin, Anna, Caitlin, Alec, Declan, Una Rose, Dean, Everett, Connor and Dana. Hank was a structural engineer for Ceco Corporation for 35 years. He was an active volunteer in his church, community, and his children's activities, whether it was sports, band or school. After retiring to Ft. Myers, Florida, his last 20 years were spent traveling and enjoying spending time with family and friends. His generous spirit continued, including work with Meals on Wheels and his retirement community. Hank's heart was filled with love for his family. Memorial visitation 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2nd at Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th St. (Palos Hills), followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment private. Gonzalez, Yolanda - Denver  
Gonzalez, Yolanda Yvonne Died in hospice on June 24, 2015 in Melrose Park, IL, due to complications from liver cancer that had spread to her lungs. She was 44. Ms. Gonzalez was born on October 11, 1970 in Chicago, IL, to her parents, Carmen and Norbert Gonzalez, Jr. She graduated from OPRF High School in 1988. She attended classes at Triton College. Yolanda worked for the Post Office. She was an avid fan of the library. She had a talented eye for photography, art and music. Yolanda is survived by her father, Norbert; her sisters, Tondeleyo and Lauren; her brothers, Julian and Bobby; and her cat, Tuna. She was preceded in death by her mom, Carmen. Ms. Gonzalez wanted to be cremated. A private memorial celebration will be held Sunday, June 28 to pay tribute and honor Yolanda's life.

Jorgensen, Robert George Age 88, of Chicago, loving son of Olas (a.k.a. Olaf) and Grace (nee Koch) Jorgensen, the lifelong Jefferson Park resident passed from natural causes. A graduate of Northwestern University, Robert was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, then a graduate of Northwestern University Law School. In his youth, he traveled widely and was an avid photographer. A confirmed bachelor, Robert was an admirer of J.F.K. with an ear for classical music and a devoted reader with interests ranging from P.G. Wodehouse to Doonesbury. A classic Kennedy-liberal, in his later years he would often comment on how the world seemed to be getting crazier and crazier. Bob was a devoted and loyal friend to many. Surely all who knew him will agree that he was a good man.
