Clancy, Joan - Romeoville  
Clancy, Joan (nee Steinhauer) Of Frankfort, IL, passed away November 22, 2014, with her beloved husband of 66 years, John "Jack" Clancy, by her side. Devoted mother of Kevin (Mary Patt), Kerry (Karen) and Kim (Kevin) Collins; cherished grandmother of 13 and proud great-grandmother of eight. Claver, Naomi (nee Goldberg) 92, beloved wife of the late Emanuel "Manny"; loving mother of Scott (Dr. Ritamarie Loscalzo), Gayle (Rich) Rediker, Mike, Cary (Dr. Lisa Wolff) and Bruce (Amy); proud Grandma Nae of twelve and great-grandma of seven; dear sister of Eleanor (the late Leonard) Green and the late Morton Goldberg and sister-in-law of George (the late Juanita) Claver; treasured aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many. Naomi was extremely proud to be an educator and community activist. Her passion for children and providing education opportunities to the youth was her lifelong devotion. Naomi even continued her own higher education in her 50's and into her mid 60's when she received her Master's in Education. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be missed by all who knew her. Chapel service Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Doran, Christine 54, of Chelsea, Michigan, died at her residence suddenly, Saturday, November 22, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Carlsen (fiancé William Townsend), Maumee, OH; her siblings, Matthew Doran, Hammond, IN, Ilsa (Michael) Richardella, Tinley Park, IL, Cheryl (Kenneth) Garcia, Steger, IL, Corine (Gordie) Laurencell, Frankfort, IL, and her fiancé, Lou Sereno, Chelsea, MI. She was the aunt to Angela, Kevin (Kathryn), Michelle, Laura, Kenneth Jr., Timothy, Gordon, Avery, Emily, Olivia, and Anderson; great-aunt to Kyleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruthanne Doran, and her niece, Allison. Christine was a free spirit. She was a great artist and an amazing published writer. She supported many charities. In May, she was ranked 77 out of 10,000 for the top fundraisers for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Chicago. She, along with her daughter, some of her siblings and nieces, nephews and great-niece, walked in memory of several family members. She spent a lot of her childhood standing at the hip of her Grandmother Avery learning to bake. She was the ultimate baker.
