Dear Mary and family: My condolences to you on Casey's passing. Among my happy memories while living on Aberdeen Street was the return from World War II of the Breslin boys and seeing Mary in her wedding dress having the bridal party's pictures taken in front of your house on your wedding day.
Wnen the other little boys and myself would play touch football on Aberdeen Street, Mr. Breslin's car, always parked in front of the house, served as the goal line and Mr. Houlihan's car marked the 50-yardline and the vacant lot ("Kielty's prairie") just soouth of our two-flat was the endzone of our pretend stadium. What happy times and wonderful neighbors we had in the 1940's and 1950's. Again, my condolences on your loss.
