Bobby was the kindest person to me and my family. I think of him often.

October 4, 2020

I just learned of the passing of Bobby Hatoff and I must extend my condolences to his immediate and extended family. I feel that in significant part I grew up in his aura and I held him in deep respect and awe during our high school years at Lakeview. I knew his sister Aryln well - Bobby an I talked at length on numerous occasions during high school - years and years ago - I simply held him in the deepest of respect - all those years ago. I weep deeply at this news for the person - for his immediate family - for Harriet whom I met scores of times and his sister Aryln. I played golf with Lloyd and he often spoke to me about the gourmet meat business and I felt all those years ago like a member of the wonderful Hatoff family. Bobby Hatoff -may you rest in peace and know the positive impact you clearly had on hundreds upon hundreds of people. With the deepest respect - Arthur Wallenstein (my heart will always be in Chicago between Oakdale - Roscoe - Stratford and Wrigley Field) - currently living in Montgomery County, Maryland and feeling deep emotions about this news.

Dear Hatoff Family,
My deepest sympathies to each of you in your time of loss. I actually worked with Bobby when he was a salesman at Stockyards in the late 70's and early 80's and he was always so nice and I'm sure he will be missed. I worked with processing the orders that Bernie & Dan Pollack, Harry & Stan Katz and Bobby took over the phones every morning, wow that was a long time ago. Those were the good old days wish I would have stayed in touch.
