My sincere sympathies. It has been many years since I spoke with Felix and I recently thought I should contact him, say hello and update. Felix was very supportive in a difficult time in my life. I learned of his passing today from the FOP Newsletter. I am so sorry for your loss and I am sorry that I did not have the opportunity to tell Felix how much I appreciated his friendship.

Was at the mass yesterday at St. Rita's. I thought of all the good times I had knowing Felix. First of all, He was a great guy with the greatest smile, and secondly, playing with him on the South Chicago Fire Hockey Team in the 70's & 80's was a blast. He never forgot me & when I would see him at the UC I would always ask him if he still wanted to skate & if he did to give a call. Unfortunately, he never did, but what a guy and what a smile! Peace to him & his family.

Sorry for your loss, I had the pleasure of skating on Felix's hockey teams at Homewood Flossmoor in mid 90's. I was new to the team and Felix basically took me under his wing. Although I skated defence I was able to play 2 and 3rd line center. And I always will remember the great fun I had on his teams. Later I also enjoyed seeing him at the Hawk games.I will miss seeing him. Ken Rahn

I worked with Felix in 22 and in OCD; I had handled jobs with him in 4 when I was in the Area. Felix was always a gentleman, a true professional. May God keep Felix in his eternal light, and May He grant the family peace and comfort.

Felix will be missed by many people, including so many Chicago sports fans for whom he provided assistance, safety and service to, for some many years. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him for many of those years. Rest in peace and may your family find comfort through the many people whos lives you have touched.
