Patrick Connelly Obituary

Connelly, Patrick F. Age 75, of Frankfort, formerly a longtime resident of Oak Forest, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at home with his family by his side. Patrick was a retired U.S. Navy veteran who served in many different countries and experienced things that most people never would in their lifetimes, but nothing compared to his adventures he shared with his four grandsons. He worked for the General Service Administration which is now Homeland Security. Loving father of Kelly (Dan) Palmer and Shawn (Dr. Bunita Eichelberge) Connelly; beloved brother of the late Paul (Alice), Frank (Barbara), James (late Jean) and Tom (Patricia) Connelly; cherished grandfather of Garrett, Gage, Reed and Shane Palmer and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 3 - 8 pm at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral service on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Info, www.kurtzmemorialchapel.com (815) 806-2225.
