Today I was scrolling the internet and noticed the obituary for Nancy Baumgartner. Wow what a shock. The past years through last I always sent a Christmas card (none returned).
I grew up on 68th street, lived diagonal across the street from the Baumgartner. I was friends with Cathy. My dad would call her sister Karen a Tom boy because she loved climbing, hanging from our railing.
Cathy married a former grade school classmate of mine.
My condolences go out to Michael (Noreen), Karen (Mike), Cathy (Jim).
Peace and love to all.
Kind regards,
Kathleen Klingenmaier-Vinson and John Vinson (now in Surprise, AZ)

I was the sewing teacher at Tarkington Park in Chicago when Nancy came for classes. What a sweet, sweet lady. I always enjoyed seeing her every week at class and hearing about her family. My sympathys to all.
