William Cleary Obituary

Cleary Jr., William J. Age 85. Longtime Flossmoor resident passed away peacefully on Monday evening December 2nd with his family at his side. He was the patriarch of the 93 year family owned business Jones & Cleary Roofing and Sheet Metal Company. Husband for 61 years of Loretta (nee Biagini); father of Jeannine (Frank ten Brink) Cleary, William III (June) Cleary, Susan (Jeffrey) Brunner, Mary Lynn Cleary, and Thomas (Nikki) Cleary. Grandfather of Michael, Peter and Ana ten Brink, Megan (Eric) Stavriotis, Shayne and Mia Cleary, Joe, Abby, Ginny Mae and Billy Brunner, Jane and George Cleary; brother of Virginia (late James) Murphy and Lorraine (late Jack) Cornelius; beloved uncle and dear friend of many. A native of Chicago's Southside/St. Felicitas, Bill was a graduate of St. Ignatius High School, Loyola University, and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a proud member of Sertoma, and active member of the Builder's Tee Club, and a longtime member of Olympia Fields Country Club. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday 9:15 a.m. to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1131 Douglas Ave, Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 a.m. Private entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Memorials in Bill's name to Anixter Center, 2001 N. Clybourne Ave #302, Chicago, IL 60614, Loyola University Chicago, 1052 W.
