Beloved husband for 35 years to Gail, (nee Stronk); Loving father of Christopher and Jeffrey Blummer; Loving brother of Jerry (Katy), Earl, Lynn (Tim) George and the late Scott (Jean); Dearest brother-in-law of Steve (JoAnne), Howard Jr. (Donna) and the late Ronald (Carol); Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; Cherished friend of many. Member of the Reber-Tesmond Orland/Palos V.F.W. Post #2604 and the Orland Park Lions Club. Visitation Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 14700 S. 94th Ave., Orland Park, IL. Interment private, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Disabled Patriot Fund or Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Memorial Squad preferred.
