Packard, Dale Frank 83, of Ogden Dunes, IN passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 after a courageous battle against Multiple Myeloma. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, June (nee Van Dyke). Loving father to Dale (Robbie) Packard, Gary (Patti) Packard, Mike (Cathi) Packard and Lisa (Andy) Kerman; caring stepfather to Anthony (Julie) Working, Greg Working, Keith (Tracy) Working and Audrey Krueger; proud grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 5. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be private. Dale was a Korean War veteran who proudly served his country from 1948-1951. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 8141 and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. Dale worked for the Indiana Harbor Belt railroad in Blue Island for 43 years, retiring in 1991. He was an avid fisherman, boater and loved to root for the Bears and White Sox. www.kishfuneralhome.net
