To the Jones Family, blessings to all of you. I remember your Dad so well in our high school years as we played football with Paul and John at NTW. He, like Mrs. Jones were so gracious and warm ~ always inviting and always so kind. Now, he is together with his wife, son, john and daughter, Mary. God bless Mr. Jones and the Jones family. Prayers to all.

To Paul, Billie, and Annie, when I think of your Dad I remember so many things. His wonderful smile and laughter, his stern talks to Beth and me, but mostly his love of God and family. I am so sorry for your loss, but he is in heaven with those he loves and most of all with his Savior our Lord. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Robin

John's life exemplified the love and grace of our Lord. His life was rich in the great commandments to "Love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind" and to "Love one-another as yourself." Missed but not forgotten as he and Liz now bask in the glory of God! Thank you for everything John!

Dear Paul, Bill, Anne, and the entire Jones family:
Please accept our deepest sympathies in the passing of your father, John Jones. I and my family have had the distinct privledge of working for Cummins Allison and with your father and the entire Jones family for over forty years, a relationship that has made a lifetime impact on me and my family. We laughed and cried together. We agreed and we disagreed, and when we disagreed, we shook hands and gave each other hug. Mr. Jones had a way about him that made you feel relaxed when you were with him, as part of his family, like you've known him forever, and he found a way into your heart. He will be surely missed. He is now at home, at peace and without pain with your mother, John, Beth, and hopefully our Julie. May God Bless John Jones and the entire Jones family. Sincerely, John and Betsy Weggesser

"My name is John Jones, and I'm President of the Glenview State Bank." So began the first radio spot I ever did with John, and it will always be one of my favorites. We recorded it in a studio in Des Plaines - John drove his Bentley over a couple of curbs when we found we had pulled into the wrong parking lot - always the direct route for John. He had a great radio voice - and it was just his voice that delivered the bank's message. I'll always remember John's kindness, generosity, and perhaps most of all, his abiding faith.

I feel blessed to have known and worked for John Jones these past 22 years. He may not have known it, but he inspired me to always try and assume a caretaker role for our customers at the Bank. The fact that our customers and our employees seemed so important to him rubbed off on all of us every day. I am going to miss him very much.

We give thanks for the life, love and ministry of John. His faithful and consistent witness of the Love of Jesus was evident each day of his life. "Give rest, O Christ to your servant with your saints. Where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting."

Annie, Bill & Paul, my heart is with you as you walk through this valley yet again. Words alone will never adequately express the love we hold for each of you, all your families & your darling father who touched our lives & the lives of so many others. We know that The Lord God Jehovah is with you in your journey & as importantly, your father has certainly heard those words we all long to hear; "well done good & faithful servant". Gd bless you all.
