Robert Metzger Obituary

Metzger, Robert George Age 68, of Oak Forest, passed away on September 29, 2013. Beloved husband of 47 years to Cynthia Marie (nee Siska). Devoted father of Robert (Cindy) Metzger of Oak Forest. Robert was a graduate of Lindblom High School in Chicago. He also attended the General Motors training school and was an auto mechanic prior to serving in the United States Army. After the military, Robert worked for AT&T and retired in 1999 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting on the Kankakee River in Momence, Illinois and also in Wisconsin. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, 6707 W. 175th Street, Tinley Park, IL. Arrangements made by Heartland Memorial Center.
