Dr. Quinn was a world-renowned specialist in the field of Infectious Disease. Dr. Quinn worked at Loyola University Medical Center; Michael Reese Medical Center; Columbus-Cabrini Medical Center; University of Illinois Medical Center (Vice Chair, Department of Medicine); Cook County Hospital; Scientific Director, Chicago Infectious Disease Research Institute; Pfizer Global and Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. Fellow, American College of Physicians, Infectious Diseases Society of America. Professor of Medicine: Loyola University College of Medicine; University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine; University of Illinois College of Medicine; Northwestern University School of Medicine; Rush University. Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26 at St. Brides Church, 7811 S. Coles Avenue, Chicago. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the retired Loretto Sisters of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM), Office of Development, P.O. Box 508, Wheaton, IL 60187 or St. Brides, 7811 S. Coles Avenue, Chicago, IL 60649, would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Quinn was a beloved attending at Michael Reese Hospital during my internship and residency. He was that rare attending who had a vast wealth of knowledge coupled with a marvelous sense of humor. My sincerest of sympathies to the entire Quinn family.
