Kathy and Family I worked with Larry at the South Chicago Heights PD for 10 years, he was a love his job especially his work with children. He was so proud and happy when he became a father even though I moved away in 1996 and lost contact I know he had to be a great father and Kathy a great mother. Also besides working together had some great time on his boat. Fondly Betty and Bug Bartolomei

Larry was one of the most kind and caring persons to ever come into my life! His strong character and the need to always make everyone around him feel better was a trait I try to have and use in my own life. Larry would do anything for you and, if you asked him to, he would give you the shirt off his back. He will be sorely missed by so many people. My heart goes out to Kathy, Mark and Laura and his entire family and I will continue to pray for you all. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of Larry's life.

Being in the foreign service with my husband kept me at a distance from family. I can see that my cousin Larry and I would have been able to have had some good talks because he was involved with children. I have done volunteer work with children. I am so impressed with his biography.
I want to express my deep sympathy to his family and to say that the family will be in my prayers.
