Wilma Alexa Obituary

Alexa, Wilma A. "Sis" of Litchfield, IL, died on Sunday, June 24, 2007, in her home. She was 77 years old. She was born in Chicago, the daughter of John and Julia (Kocur) Stokes. Sis was an employee of American Can Company for over 30 years. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her grandchildren as well as bowling. Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, Benedict C. Alexa, son, Frank Alexa, daughters, Christine (Karl) Swartz, Julie (Leo) Cisek, Donna Botica, Connie (Jesse) Cole and Denise (Fran) Radziwon, grandchildren, Christopher Cisek, Lisa (Cisek) and Jim Ferrell, Michael, Gina and Laura Botica, Kellie and Ben Alexa, Alexa Radziwon, great-grandchildren, Lannon and Julia Farrell, brothers, William (Frances) Stokes and Jerry Cahill. Preceding her in death were granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Alexa and brothers, John Stokes and Vincent Cahill, fond and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 6, 4 to 9 p.m., at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont, IL. Funeral Saturday, July 7th, 10 a.m., St. Joseph Church, 410 S. Jefferson, Lockport, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Easter Seals Foundation and/or Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer are appreciated.
