Adams (nee McCabe), loving father of Alfred Adams, devoted step-father of Richard (Joyce) Murnane, loving grandfather of seven, great-grandfather of four, dear brother of the late Valentina Clifford, Nickalos (Evelyn) Adams and John Adams, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at The Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Interment private. Al was a big part of my life. I will always remember the many good things he did for me as long as I have known him. (At least 52 years) I am also grateful for the fact that he accepted me as part of the family after Nick died.
