I am so sorry for your loss. although we moved out of the neighborhood, we still saw each other regularly at mass on Sunday evenings. I had been out of town and just read about Mr. Coit in the church bulletin. I will miss seeing and speaking with him. please let me know if there is anything I can do.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Bob grow up with my brother Bob, but I have good memories of the Coits in the hood. I really got a kick or joy the last couple of years of his Dad's life, he would bring him to our tuesday golf league and have lunch with us. I don't know who told better stories him or Dad? It was wonderful of Bob to share and take care of Dad in His final days! God bless both. Many laughs and memories.

I first met Robert and his family when they kindly came to Kansas City for my father-in-law, Kenneth J. Coit's funeral. I was thrilled to meet family from Chicago and was delighted by Robert and his stories of life in Canaryville. He impressed me as a kind, hard working, generous family man that cared for those he loved. His playful personality and kind spirit were a gift to behold.
Please accept our condolences and prayers in this time of grief.
Much love,
Mary and Kenneth N. Coit
