Carollo, Philip G. Army Veteran, of Palos Heights, IL, died September 8, 2017. He leaves behind his cherished family, loving wife of 52 years, Therese (nee Piontek); devoted children, Philip "Jay" (Nila), Jack, Jo-Ann (Guy Miller), Richard (Michelle); and seven beloved grandchildren, Kelly, Katie, Matt, Nicholas, Andrew, Grace and Alex; siblings, Phyllis (Conrad Noxon), Bernadette Stang, the late Jim (Mary Ei) and Anthony (Mary Pat); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was born in Chicago to Santo (Jim) and Florence Carollo on May 22, 1940. He attended Leo High School. He was both founder and president of Lion Circle and Midwest Laminating. Phil loved spending time at his vacation homes in both Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Marco Island, Florida. Visitation Tuesday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday 10:00 a.m. from Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Road (5500 W), Burbank, IL 60459 to Incarnation Church. Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Funeral information: 708-636-2320.
