A retired Truck Salesman, he had worked many years for Truck City of Gary, IN, and Great Lakes Peterbilt in Portage, IN. Husband of the late Wilma (nee Verschoore) and Louise (nee Pagliero); father of Joseph Jr. (Candy) Huegel, Richard (Jerri) Alexzander, and the late Diane Huegel, Susan (Greg) Pagnier and Kathleen (John) Neveau; grandfather of Thomas Bailey and Nicklaus Maynard, Mandy, Nicholas and Kylie Alexander, Andrew Zastrow, Jill and Sarah Stout and Lindsay Slimski; great-grandfather of Tenley, Larissa, Austin, Gavin, Landon and Kailani; son of the late Pauline (nee Zullo) and Frank Huegel; brother of Jim (Roxanne) and Frank (Beth) Huegel; beloved uncle and dear friend of many.
