I am so sorry for your loss & please forgive my presumption during your grief. However, I am compelled to enquire if your Don Graff is the Don Graff who went to Navy Boot Camp with me in Fall 1975 in San Diego CA. He & another shipmate came home with me on Leave before going back to Chicago.
