Connelly, John J. "Jack" Of Huntley, formerly of Elk Grove Village for 42 years. Beloved husband of Mae Marie (nee Meeks) for 52 years; loving father of Susan (Michael) Hennelly, Timothy (Deb Gallagher) and William; cherished grandfather of Katie and Jack Hennelly; dear brother of Lois O'Connell, Evelyn Walz and Patricia (Tom) Kearney and brother-in-law of Mary Lou Connelly and John Capalbo. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn (nee Earl) Connelly; his brothers, Robert and James and his sisters, Vivian Capalbo and Carol (Jack) Hawley. John was a Navy veteran of the Korean War; member of IBEW, Local 134 and VFW Post 9284, Elk Grove Village. Visitation Monday from 3:00-9:00pm at Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S. Arlington Hts Rd, Elk Grove Village). Chapel prayer Tuesday at 9:30 am, proceeding to Queen of the Rosary Church for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside. Mrs. Connelly, Sue, Tim and Bill, I was sorry to hear about Jack passing away.
I sure have some rally nice memories living near the Connelly family.
I know my Mom (Raelene) and Brother (Brian) also had some good times and laughs with all the Connelly's.
May his sole rest in peace and let the perpetual light shine upon him.
